| Breaking News |  | Tuesday, November 7th, 2006: Carrillo Re-Signs with Wildcats
Sources familiar with dealings between Pepé Carrillo and Dallas report that the two sides have pushed aside their differences and worked out an extension. The 31-year-old agreed to a $975,000 deal, that will have him playing at Kennedy Memorial Stadium for the next 3 seasons.
In his career Carrillo has made 81 relief appearances with a 7-4 record, tossed 111 innings with 8.03 strikeouts per nine innings. Batters have hit .227 against him, his lifetime ERA stands at 3.00 and he has accumulated 2 saves.

 | Sunday, October 8th, 2006: Colonial League Most Valuable Player Award Proclaimed: Dallas First Baseman Jason Starr Gets Prize
2006 was a very good year for Dallas Wildcats first baseman Jason Starr, this year's CL Most Valuable Player Award recipient. Starr had a marvelous season, hitting .334, blasting 28 doubles and 41 four-baggers, driving in 121 runs, and scoring 111 times.

 | Saturday, October 7th, 2006: Colonial League King of the Hill Honors Claimed by Dallas Ace Ruhland
This season's King of the Hill trophy went to Donnie Ruhland, the ace of the Dallas Wildcats pitching staff. He dominated the Colonial League and registered 18 triumphs and only 7 defeats with a very respectable 2.15 ERA to snag the prestigious Outstanding Pitcher Award. Ruhland started 33 games and worked a total of 201.1 innings. He got tagged for 134 hits, fanned 224, issued just 69 free passes and held opposing clubs to a mediocre .187 team batting average.
