Monday, September 18th, 2006: Lavorando on Fire, Goes 5 for 5 Against Princeton
Runelvys Lavorando put on a hitting clinic today. The Dallas catcher sprayed hits all over the ballpark by lashing Princeton pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.

R. Lavorando singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and doubled in the 8th.

A novice in the league, Lavorando currently has a .364 batting average for the season with 12 hits, 0 homers, 5 RBI, and 7 runs scored. He has walked 2 times, stolen 0 bases, and compiled a .389 OBP.
Monday, September 11th, 2006: Black Squirrels Star Hawn Cruises to Colonial League Player of the Week Honors
The most recent recipient of the Colonial League Player of the Week award is shortstop Ray Hawn of Princeton.
