The 2006 Maple Leaf League Outstanding Pitcher Award has gone to Halifax Sandpipers ace Wayne Hooker after recording a 14-2 season and a 2.30 ERA. Hooker held opposing hitters to a .214 batting average and gave up 4 home runs in 152.2 innings pitched.
